So {Gonti, Lord of Luxury}'s ability states that as long as the card exiled when he comes into play I can cast it. Does that include if he dies before I cast it?

You will be able to cast the card as long as it remains exiled, the triggered ability has nothing to do with the Gonti card except that it is attached to it.

Thanks. That's the way I understood it. Friend was being a little salty after I exiled his {Nath of the Gilt-Leaf}. Especially since I went on to win the game.
