I love etched monstrosity. Sideboard

FYI, {topor orb} will not prevent {etched monstrosity} from entering the BF with those -1/1 counters.  The counters are not a trigger, same for undying or persist, so creatures will still enter the BF with counters even if {torpor orb} is on the BF.  now {torpor orb} + {demonlord of ashmouth} will keep you from sacing a creature since that is an ETB trigger.

Au, gotcha. Would Pit Dweller enter on your own side again with a +1/+1 counter?

Yes because it's a triggered ability (has the word "when".)

I didn't think about nixing soulbond. I guess torpor orb is more of a nixing card anyway. Get out of here {Skinrender}, {Dungeon Geists} and {Stonehorn Dignitary}.

You guys have any more creatures for this? Like should I throw in grave crawlers just because they're awesome?
