THIS IS NOT A REAL TRADE YET!

What would you guys trade out of the new series for these two cards? (I need a reference point)

Coffee Vampire

Probably a couple of my children.

Nothing. Those are the only 2 money cards in the set. Anyone who thinks {Temporal Mastery} is gonna be the next best thing since sliced bread is fooling themselves. That card will go down in value. So....in this instance, I would either hold on to them if you plan on playing standard or trade them for some legacy staples.

Nice tip, but like I said, all I would like is a reference point (no one near where I live plays legacy, it's all standard)

Sagemaster

I would trade a sword of war and peace for one and a feast ad famine for the other or well wait that'd put me about 10 short I think If you have anything that'd make that difference and want the swords pm me

What I cant deal with a blue rampant growth? The card is terrible in standard and is overhyped. Your extra turn does nothing in standard. You get one more land and get to swing again. If you build your deck around that card to just get its miracle cost, you leave yourself open to be destroyed by any deck that applies event the slightest pressure.

I don't think it's good for a play set but as a one of its not too bad.

2 is the correct number to play. 1 you will never see it, 2 you will probably not see it in the opening hand but are more likely to draw into it. But here is my point, give me a scenario where temporal mastery is a good play in standard.

Willthomjr

playing temporal mastery, then reforge the soul Next turn playing temporal mastery into another forge of souls, play temporal master into another forge of souls.

And you are supposed to pay 12 mana for this marginal effect on the game state? You do realize that the scenario you gave me does absolutely nothing to the games state right? Plus to get the miracle cost on temporal, the you must draw it after you draw your 7 off of the reforge correct? And all the while even if you did get those crazy odds and mana you do absolutely nothing to the board. I would rather just slam down a titan or two and kill my opponent for all the trouble its worth in your scenario.

Yeah but if you have a burn deck, all those turns will help.

(I was just trollin about my comment. Yøū seem to have a strong opinion of how this card isn't that great. You've made your point and I wanted to catch you up in it 😜)

Sorry but you even failed to catch me up in my point. Furthermore, if I am playing a burn deck, I dont want to pay 12 mana a turn to draw a bunch of cards and just discard them. Seriously, if you are paying 12 mana to do this loop, how are you going to have mana for your other spells during these turns?

Willthomjr

Im not talking about playing it all In one turn.

I'll break it down for you.

My turn.
"look" temporal mastery
I play it.
Next turn I have I get a reforge the soul miracle
I play it
Draw a full hand and play mastery hard cost and some other burn spells
Next turn miracle reforge the soul. Get a temporal mastery and hard cast it. Etc.

This is a ridiculous probability of it all could happen yea, I'm laughing while typing.

So I'm not talking about 1 turn like you thought I was saying.
