Zombies are real, to think otherwise is faulty logic. But that depends on your definition of the word.

Will the dead  rise to make brain smoothies and a plague will wash across the earth? No, but catastrophes happen, I have survived Katrina, hell, I helped search houses after that storm, I have seen what happens when people's paradigms are shifted by such events.

It looks like a zombie apocalypse.

Being in that state of mind can help you prepare for the worst. I am the head of a Louisiana chapter of a group called Z.E.S.T., Zombie Eradication and Survival Team. We have over 5k members, and we focus on disaster awareness and preparation as well as teaching survival courses at the local college and firearms safety/defensive shooting classes at the local sheriff's office range. I can find enough food, shelter and water on the average city block to sustain myself indefinitely.

That said, none of this stems from playing magic. It's a card game. A fun card game I enjoy and also enjoy talking about, but it will never be real.

Kali is a great name, BTW, named my custom .45 I built Kali. She hasn't failed me in competition yet, even helped me achieve a ranking of 23rd best close quarters battle shooter in the state.

Giving up Magic is not an example of "all going well".  Not even remotely.


Things going well means being able to function as a normal human being, and normal people have healthy past-times and hobbies.  There is nothing unhealthy about enjoying magic or a number of other hobbies for that matter, provided that you don't let your hobbies interfere with your responsibilities.  Work first, play second, all is good.

Exactly. But only when he is done with rehabilitation for the day. And when I'm up to visit him. His rehabilitation is over two hours away.

So please.... nothing else about zombies or anything to do with them.

I think this rehab has nothing to do with magic at all. Sure magic has Z's but scientifically the z apocolypse will never happen and is restricted to sci fi

Has no one payed attention? His rehab has NOTHING to do with magic. He needs to come back to reality. It's not just his belief in zombies, it's also him thinking that he's batman. He could get seriously hurt or hurt someone else if he goes all out with his zombies or batman.

I really doubt he believes himself to be Batman. Lots of unique prerequisites there. I also think this whole rehabilitation thing smells like largemouth bass. I also think its weird that you'd post in his absence and let him see at all. "Hey we're taking you off heroin, so I'll do it for you and let you watch the rest of us shoot up sometimes, too. Oh, I know you just liked to smoke cigarettes, I'm just being safe."
