Hey all... First, I want to say I am relatively new to the commander format. That being said, this is a new commander deck I've been Working on but I need to trim down a few more cards before I add lands. Any and all help appreciated! :)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Commander!

Some cards I noticed are weak within the deck are:

-Primal Druid: Being able to only do the ability whenever it dies just makes it worse than  {Sakura-Tribe Elder}. Also without a sac outlet I wouldn't even consider it.

-Old Ghastbark: You have bigger, cheaper creatures than this one.

-Sheltering Word: This card is too situational. And if you wanted to run something like this effect, I'd prefer {Vines of Vastwood}.

-Map the Wastes: In my personal opinion, not that great for a ramp card. Would much rather run  {Cultivate} or  {Skyshroud Claim}.

Otherwise the deck looks good! Lmk if you need any more advice, I'd love to help.

Thank you for the tips...i like primal druid in this deck cuz of its toughness. If I keep swinging with a 3/3 each and every turn, eventually he will die or I will win lol... Plus I have a few sac outlets thou not many

Old ghastbark was already on my cutting board... Think it's time to cut him

Sheltering word Gains life, you think pump is better? I mean I'll take your word on it since I'm new to the format... May just cut it all together as I still have a few to trim

I thought map the waste would be good due to the small boost to my weakest creature, but again, noob to commander so I'll prob go with one of your suggestions

Thanks for the input! :)

Typically it's better (in my opinion at least) to get a bigger creature out faster rather than making a small creature a bit bigger. So stuff like  {Kodama's Reach} and  {Cultivate} are nice cause of this. Obviously modern infect would disagree with me, but for commander getting threats out is huge especially in a creature based deck like yours.

Appreciate the tip... Not only am I new to commander, but creatures is a new archetype for me. I'm a control person in standard, combo (sorta) in modern, and now I'm leaning towards creatures in commander. So trying to balance it all lol
