I would cut all 3 {Sunken Ruins} in favor of something else. With 4 {Mutavault} the odds of getting a colorless land hand is so high that you'll be going to 5-6 cards almost every single game. You're only in 2 color so you could easily run another cheap dual. {Watery Grave} and some fetches would be optimal. The current list looks waaaay to risky. Especially considering that Clique is your only double mana cost, I'm not going to count {Dismember}.

I agree about the mana base. You need a lot of black mana early, yet you have access to more blue. Some fetches and shocks would do wonders for this deck. Especially since your best removal spell requires 2 black mana

Yah I'm debating on putting deltas and graves in the mana base but my only worries with that are that my decks already punishing me with the bitterblossoms, thoughtseize's, and dismember. So I wanted to keep life loss to a minimum with the mana base. But I may run 3 deltas instead of the ruins. But as soon as I get the rest of the cards in the mail I'll start play testing at my LGS to get the mana base down solid. If it needs the graves and deltas after further play testing then I shall definitely add them.

So I wanted to keep life loss to a minimum with the mana base. But I may run 3 deltas instead of the ruins. If life is an issue run {Inquisition of Kozilek} over {Thoughtseize}. It's going to do almost exactly what you want Seize to do. Fetches also feed {Murderous Cut}! 😉

Yah I'm actually going to run 3 inquisitions over the 3 seizes. My counters should be able to take care of bigger things anyways. Lol

Very true Fahrenheit. I'm actually thinking of running Faerie Conclaves over tar pits for budget reasons and that's the real reason I was thinking of running sunken ruins. If I do do that then I'll probably also drop my ruins to 2 and run 1 more basic swamp

If you're running 4 Vaults, I wouldn't run Ruins at all.

If you're running 4 Vaults, I wouldn't run Ruins at all.
