Infinite combo comes from equipping {Judge of Currents} and/or {Stonybrook Schoolmaster} with {Paradise Mantle}+{Pemmin's Aura}.

I just need help sideboarding, this deck works though.

The inherent problem with this Merfolk decks is, you run out of a hand (because they're so cheap to cast), which is why {Jace Beleren} is in there.

I also feel like 67 cards is perhaps too many for this deck

What should I drop then? {Standstill} has great interaction with {Æther Vial} and {Mutavault}. Drop {Brainstorm}? Seems like blasphemy. If I drop the infinite combos then it becomes a regular ol' merfolk deck

Should I drop Jace and add {Fallowsage}? I could drop it for free (with the {Æther Vial}) and use the infinite combo, use him for chump blocking, and the buffs from lords. It seems unlikely however, and {Jace Beleren} is steady.

This is my "ideal" infinite merfolk deck. With a $2,000 land base it ought to be good...let's hope

Or run {Geist of Saint Traft} he's no merfolk but I bet those merfolk wouldn't mind him hanging out with em ;)

Just to give you some credit.  You {aether vial} deck here got me motivated to converge the idea with StoneBlade........hence the StoneBlade deck I have posted here ;)

Well that and I finally got an {aether vial} from a trade now I am just trying to secure the last 3 lol.

If I do that, I'll have no real reason to run white. I mean, besides {enlightened tutor}. I think I feel comfortable with the creature base. Geist wouldn't get any of the buffs from the 3 merfolk lords I have in play. Geist would be cool with equipment, kinda squishy without it.

I finished my play set of revised edition {Tundra}s today! Celebrating later tonight. Lots of trading, bartering, free work (I'm a mechanic) and gambling. I have a playset! One is a beta in rough shape though. Onto {Flooded Strand}s.
