It refers to the archetype of Abzan than runs mostly green and white creatures

Alright cool. Just seemed odd, as Abzan includes Green and White.

Explain your reasoning behind, experiment one, athreos, Varolz, and blood baron.

Well for one this isn't quite competitive
But exp one is a nice one drop that quickly turns big and can protect itself, especially since most of the other creatures in the deck will trigger it
Varolz is going out pretty soon when I figure out what to replace with
Blood baron is surprisingly hard to kill and can be a great finisher turn 5 or 6 if I don't ramp into him earlier
Until athreos becomes a creature, he is very difficult to get rid of and makes every creature you play more valuable and puts more pressure on the opponent

Maybe. I always felt like he died too easily but worth a shot
