If I Soulbond {pathbreaker wurm} and {trusted forcemage}, do they each gain each others' paired ability?

So it can be paired with a non soul bound creature?

I'm confused.. What's your question?

Richardalcala

So if it has soul bound on the card I could pair it with a card that doesn't say soul bound on it? Like from past sets?

Yes. Unpaired creatures with soulbond can pair with creatures without the ability.

Otherwise {Flowering Lumberknot} would be completely useless.😜

Greg54js

Yes soulbond targets any unpaired creature so basically every creature you control

Richardalcala

That makes it better at first I thought the other creature had to have it. Thanks.

If you paired something like {wolfir silverheart} to {inkmoth nexus}, it wouldn't happen to stay paired when the nexus becomes a land would it? It doesn't seem logical, but it would be cool!

No it wouldn't but when you Activate the inkmoth it would pair again assuming you didn't pair silverheart with something else

Not exactly. The {Inkmoth Nexus} doesn't enter the battlefield, it just changes properties.
The only way to bond with it is to animate it and then have an paired soulbond creature ETB. And then it would only be paired while it's a creature.

That's what I thought
