It's clearly one of the better blue cards ever printed, extremely flexible and such. I think it gets a bad rep because it's stopped many an aggro/combo deck from domination.

I love it and I play it, but you're right, it stopped so many decks! And in a way, I really want something to stop it from completely dominating the game, and for it to rotate out!

I just don't know that it's unfair, does it have a lot of ability and utility? Of course. So do the titans. Their only drawback is that they cost a lot of mana....yippie. WotC should never print powerful cards who's only drawback is their mana cost, then actually attempt to call their counters ({mana leak}) a mistake and OP.

{Cavern of Souls} is the must have card, and will be for very long. It brings back so many deck types to vintage and legacy. Decks that were marginalized not because of Snapcaster, but because of {Force of Will}. In the current meta it doesn't make {Snapcaster Mage} useless, just makes it work harder. What it does that I don't enjoy is make aggro unreasonable.
