Cascade triggers onto cast, unfortunately. Doesn't do anything with the blade.
{Archaeomancer}, {Anarchist}, {Augur of Bolas} in spell heavy builds.
{Avalanche Riders} if you want a really empty board. {aven Fogbringer} for a kinder substitute. {goblin gardener} & {Goblin Settler} too.
{Foundry Street Denizen} for great buff.

{Gilded Drake} is nice if you don't have an empty board opposing you, and can {stifle} the initial etb trigger.

Right now I'm leaning on the {Bearer of the Heavens}

It doesn't really effect the board in your favor though, it is a restart the battlefield thing but in an empty one it pretty much reads "destroy all lands"

{blade of selves} will exile the tokens. There won't be a "dies" trigger unless you can kill the copies before exile. That said, for coming back in {R} I'd go for {bogardan hellkite}.

I should just move the blade to my {B}{W} and copy {Ashen Rider}

Or you van have people quit over a Major interaction headache by throwing it on the field with a {worldgorger dragon}. (Float {4}, cast dragon, cast & attach blade, swing, spent 4 hours discussing the implications, call it the day, , profit)
