I love me some cube but I don't see much cube talk around here so was curious if it's as popular out there as its in my play group. This post is all about those awesome stories. Either you drafted something insane and it worked (or just blew up in your face) the crazy top decks, the what just happened combos, the last second wins, etc!

Still one of my favorite stories is when my play group got together and we had a new guy who's never played magic join the draft. He drafted 4 color good stuff (everything minus white) with the craziest mana requirements and only a  {Watery Grave}, a  {Rootbound Crag} and  {Coalition Relic} As mana fixing.... Each freaking round this guy was hitting everything on curve... It was amazing to watch and he still plays magic to this day because of how much fun he had 😄

My fav stack of a cube match is as follows. The numbers will designate the order

{Lightning Bolt} (1) to the face for the win

{Lightning Helix} (2) for the save

{Counterspell} (3) Helix

{Reverberate} (4) copy counterspell target counter spell

  {Blue Elemental Blast} (5) reverberate

{Hinder} (6) BEB

{Brainstorm} into  {Mana Leak} (7) for the win

One player cast a Mogis, God of Death Metal (http://i.imgur.com/ij6q6Cd.png). His opponent then cast {Phantasmal Image} copying it.

In hindsight, Mogis didn't have enough devotion to be a creature, but I would've let it happen regardless because it was freaking funny.

I was playing with my friends semi-power cube, and i ended up swinging with an infinity/infinity {heroes bane} with doublestrike, lifelink, deathtouch, trample, haste, hexproof and unblockable 😁

To say the least, the guy i swung at died 😂

When I had my cube, they let me draft upheaval like 7 times in a row. I won 7 times in a row.  One time it was pack 1 pick 7. :/

Upheaval is top five cards in the cube that aren't power 9 and it's absurd it goes so late.

On that note  {Plow Under} Is another one I see go way to late. It's such a beating especially if it's in a ramped deck
