"It can also be a nice gesture to leave a comment on their private page for others to see as they browse that persons page."

Copied strait from the trusted traders guide.

I do this, as I feel that it helps build an HONEST TRADE REPUTAION for that person in this community and it's what I look at before I contact someone for a trade. It's like reading the reviews on a product before buying it or using it. My gripe is, and I don't like that I feel like I have to state it, why won't the ppl that have traded with me post anything on my private page reflecting my trades with them just like I have for them? Popper23345 and Beachlander have commented and I greatly appreciate that, however I've traded with more ppl than just those 2 guys. I'm just asking that whoever I trade with take a moment to post a comment on my private page like I have yours. Thank you. 👍

This reminds me that i need to write more positive reviews..

But i do completly approve of trading with mabb78, because with the trade we had, he was a great communicator and the cards were in Nm condition

Hang in there and continue to do a good job.  The positive feedback will come in time.

Not everyone has time to write an eBay re view for every trade

It's all easy to say it can be done, but everyone's life is different. Sometimes I send out 20+ trades at a time, it's just too much to review every one.

Write your own list of people you traded with for a reference guide, then forward that reference guide to others when trading

Much easier that way

I can understand how that could be a hassle for you Muggy and others that have major multiple trades. I just may do the list in the future but as many times as I've jumped on and off of here and seen that the ppl I've traded with on or have been on, why not take a minute to add to someone's personal page "great trader" and leave it at that or whatever they feel like leaving. I'm mean the way I see it, respect is a big part of how the trading community works here. Thanks again for the list tip. 👍

It's better to let things play out naturally, when you bring attention to things like this, it kinda comes off as needy.

I have no inclination to think either way about a trader until I've actually made a trade with someone.

That being said, that's just my experience, and if I had such a good experience, I felt the need to write a review I will.
Otherwise I won't.

Most times if someone leaves me a comment, I will attempt to write one for them to.

But people can make a few good trades,
Get their rep up. And then be gone and bail on the next big trade they get.

Trade cred isn't demanded it's earned though w process of time.

I had a whole other page of comments once, and to edit my binder full of bulk at one time I had to delete the whole thing.

Trust me, it's not a big deal, don't draw unnecessary suspicion to yourself !

You have a very valid point and I did not want to come across as needy by any means. So, now that I've created the thread and aired my gripe I'll let it go and like you said, let nature take its corse. Thanks guys, you've helped me vent and turned my views on things a bit. Glad to be a part of this community. I hope that my venting won't turn anyone away from any future trades.
