Why no blue? Protection for the combo seems like it'd be nice

2 reasons:

The big reason is budget bc Cryptics and tarns are pricey!

But also this is just a faster version of the combo and is much more consistent.

I've played this deck a bit for the past month and it's strong. It just top 8ed the WMCQ for Canada last weekend (not me piloting it lol)
