Commander says that mana symbols count for a creatures color identity
new eldrazi claim (via void) to have no color

so what is the deck limitation?

obviously a {W} cant even cast an eldrazi with {B} in the mana cost so is it really that simple?

they are colorless creatures with a color identity?

they can be put into any deck but only certain decks can cast them?

I say colorless with a color identity. Color identity is all colored symbols on a card. They have a colored symbol. Just an ability that makes them colorless in terms of gameplay.

{Tasigur the golden fang}'s color identiy is BUG. But gameply wise he just a black crearure.

Edit: spelling error.

Just confirming:

Color and Color Identity are completely different concepts.  A creature with colored symbols in its mana cost or text box has color identity, even if it has an ability like Devoid that makes it a colorless creature and card.

so while color is an attribute, color identity is a property (that only applies in EDH)
so these will be colorless creatures with color identities
colorless permanents that provide devotion...

Correct.  Much in the same way that the Pact cycle, Evermind and Drya Arbor have color because they have text that says so (or a color indicator as it is now) regardless of not having a mana cost, Devoid similarly overwrites the fact that there are colored symbols in their mana cost and makes it colorless.  They just made it an ability because explaining a Colorless Color Indicator makes things weird, especially when so many are appearing in this set.
