What should I do?

I am deciding between entering several sealed deck Avacyn Restored events, or contributing money to preorder two boxes with some friends, what should I do? I'm thinking probably the boxes

Depends on how much money you want
to spend?

Think about opportunity cost (what you sacrifice to do one thing insteae of the other). If you do the tourney, it is more of an experience (especially the helvault one). However, you will probably get more cards from the boxes; this means more rares. So if you want to have fun more than get a lot of cards (but still get some), go with the tourney. If you want to get a lot of cards (but still some fun), go with boxes.

Tourney, totally the tourney.

Nobody ever said "Man, I really regret not buying seven or eight more booster packs."  But you could be saying, "Man, I remember that Helvaut Prerelease, it was so much fun!"

Well, I have a really small shop, and I don't think that they're going to have the vault

At dark ascension pre release I took 5th place and won 5 packs so 11 packs for 25 dollars was a really good deal along with playing 5 games was a fun experience
