I used my mill deck for my first time at a local modern event at one of the shops and played four matches and lost all four but won the first game against the first three people. I am not very good at side boarding. I actually played without {Mesmeric Orb} in the games and it went pretty well. Went up against boggles, pyromancer's ascension, goblins, and an enchantment aura deck. The aura deck took first place. Any suggestions would be helpful.

What was the difference between the boggles deck and the aura deck? Other than the lack of boggles, I mean.

The aura deck was selesnya with the girl creature that gets +2/+2 for each aura

Maybe some sort of {Sigil of the Empty Throne} type thing? I'm curious as well.

It had  {Kor Spiritdancer}
And boosted with {rancor}s and other auras along with the enchantment that gives creature a boost for each enchantment they control  {Ethereal Armor}.
And they had too few creatures in their deck for {crypt incursion} to help

I ran them main because they were what saved me and got me to win any of the games

And sadly enough this is the only deck I have at all. I have put everything into just this one deck and it is driving me crazy because I do not know how to get it to work.

I deal with most of the delve cards by adding  {jace's phantasm}. Great 1 drop, a 5/5 flyer t2-3.  Also helps against slower decks or (occasionally) tron when u can change from mill to beat face.  {engineered explosives} can really help get rid of creature swarms or in your case rancor spam.  Just some helpful advice from another mill player.  Good luck and welcome to the club.
