U/R Delver, my pride and joy. Played it before, during and after cruise, and my love still has not faded. Was convinced to try Grixis, and I hated it. Problems are against G/Bx decks, Burn and Affinity. Any thoughts?

Splicer

Staticaster in the sideboard for tokens? If that's the case, then {electrickery} would be better. But dosen't tokens run {Intangible virtue} and {Honor of the pure} anyway? I'm unconvinced at the power.

I thing the blue shoal might be good. Most of the time it's a force of will. This specific list is a little light on 3 drops for it though.
Force of Will is good in legacy because it allows for you to not die from combo decks on turn one. That's not a threat in modern, so the shoals natural card disadvantage makes it really not worth playing, especially if it doesn't do anything and just sits in your hand.

DimirOverlord1300

I have seen disrupting shoal be very good in modern, specifically in temur delver

LinkCelestrial

I've been thinking about a mono U deck with it for a while.

Mattao19

I feel like at least 1 Clique is needed preferably 2

Cryptic is usually to high cmc for Delver it's more of a control card

He runs 16 lands cryptic will rarely be cast.

Side note: 16 lands is too few I think especially with 8 fetches I think I'd go to 18 maybe 19 or 20

That was one of the things I hated about Grixis delver, it had too many lands. I would top deck lands instead of spells, and end up with 3-4 lands in hand instead of spells. I would consider going up to 17, what would you cut?

Mattao19

You run enough high cmc stuff to go to 18 as for what to cut I'm sure he's in there for a reason but Jace seems mediocre to me

I was wondering about {Jace Beleren} as well. I just don't see him as often so I was just curious :)

{jace Beleren} seems bad

Jace beleren is decent,  {Alpha Tyrranax} seems bad :) STOP THE HATE ON JACE :(

the_intelligentleman

{Jace Beleren} will probably  be replaced with a clique for testing.

LinkCelestrial

{Jace, Architect of Thought} is very viable vs Twin especially (also Infect, Affinity, . I main board it in Jeskai Control for fun. In a competitive meta it's sideboard material usually but still.
