Copy Enchantment creature

i had a {nylea's emissary} bestowed on a creature and my opponent cast {copy enchantment} choosing the emissary and attaching it to one of his creatures. If I killed his creature would the copied emissary fall off and become an emissary creature?  We eventually decided yes but would like confirmation.

The only way for a creature with bestow to become attached to a creature is through casting it using bestow.  If you cast a copy enchantment and choose the Emissary, it will enter the battlefield as a normal creature, not an Aura.

Very interesting.  Thank you. I get confused with copy effects sometimes and his whole deck is copy effects.
