Can I manifest {Emrakul, The Aeons Torn} and then {cloudshift} him? Does he flip?

My friend played a morph card face down then cloudshifted it and it was like 6 mana cheaper... is that legit?

Yeah, since he gets exiled face up, and retains no memory of his state when leaving the battlefield, Emmy comes back in full glory.

When you shift a morph, do note this does not count as turning the card face up, so any triggered effects on unmorphing will not trigger.

Manifest Emmy. Toss out {Mycosynth Lattice} and {Mirror Gallery}. {Cloudshift} the upside down Emmy then use {Sculpting Steel} on my Emmy that is considered an artifact to get my extra turn for 3 mana. XD

And just for shits/giggles... put out a {Conjurer's Closet} for the {Sculpting Steel}. :3

No ETB effects, no flip effects, No "cast" effects

So that means {Hooded Hydra}s die when shifted, {Emrakul, The Aeons Torn} doesn't give you an extra turn...

Except ETB effects DO trigger on a cloudshift. It enters from exile. Cast no, so no extra turn. {hooded hydra} comes in as 0/0, because x=0

This does not work.

You only get an extra turn when you cast Emrakul. {Sculpting Steel} only enters the battlefield as another artifact.
