I started kinda playing during new phrexia so I'm not completely sure on everything so my question is can you use any basic land in your deck? Like could you use basic land from m10 in a standard deck?

I've been out for a while, but I'm pretty sure you can use basic land from any set, because it's been reprinted.  Just like you can use the old mana leak because it was reprinted in a new set.

Ok makes sence. That's good to know cause like most ppl I'm guessing I have a ton of land and keep getting more from fat packs and booster packs

The only thing is snow-covered land.  Technically it's basic land, but you can only use it for Ice Age block.  Probably not something you'll need to worry about though.
