An Angry Fatman

Thought this deck was lost forever! I lost it quite a while back, and it was recently returned to me. Made a sideboard for it, and can't wait to play it this week!

An Angry Fatman

My meta plays a lot of USA control, U/B Artifacts, and two people play reanimater a lot.

An Angry Fatman

Also, I have been seeing more BW Tokens and Abzan tokens. I may add a couple {ratchet bomb}'s to the sideboard...

LinkCelestrial

{Slaughter Games} would make a sick SB card.

No {Lightning Bolt}? Or {Go for the Throat}, ect. Perhaps {Murderous Cut}.

{Relic of Progewhatis} over {Tormod's Crypt} IMO.

Drayton99

I love this deck. Do you mind if I steal it? (:<

Codester1991

I like it a lot! Perhaps if you can get a hold of some fetches, {bloodstained mire} would definitely help thin out the deck!

InfinitiveDivinity

Dude, no {Bloodghast}?

Kaalia with haste

{ratchet bomb} is just a worse engineered explosives.

An Angry Fatman

Thanks for the input! I will be making additions to this soon, but I am just stoked to have it back. I thought it was stolen back after ravnica was released, but the store owner found it! So awesome to have it back! {lightning bolt} over {searing spear} any day though!

Spencer Addington

Needs more {cavern of souls}

An Angry Fatman

Great thinkin spencer!

Dude, no {Bloodghast}?
No, really.

Any interest in making this competitive? I have a few ideas.

InfinitiveDivinity

Went ahead and made a modified, slightly more competitive version. This is in no way an insult to what you have here, but is simply something you may enjoy building towards if you'd like this to be your pet deck. I had some free time and love making tribal/pet decks Modern competitive, so feel free to take any or all concepts I've put forward here. Anyways, here's the list:

15 sideboard cards

---------The Breakdown----------

• {Mutavault} - With Urborg this is non-detrimental, and can serve as another dude to chump or assist in that last alpha strike.

• {Bloodstained Mire} & {Verdant Catacombs} -The fetchland package is of course for thinning purposes, but also doubles as a reliable way to continually bring back {Bloodghast}. Catacombs can always be any other {B} fetch, a money preferable option is {Polluted Delta}. The 4 Mires is essential though to get your turn 1 {R} mana for that Noble drop.

• {Blood Crypt} - I think 3 is fine. In between fetches and Blackcleaves you should always have proper colors.

• {Blackcleave Cliffs} - For speed purposes only. Can easily remain {Dragonskull Summit}s, it does however make a better turn 1.

• {Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth} - To always hit that double {B}, and make your fetches good in the late game when you don't want to fetch, just drop a land and tap it to grab {Bloodghast} later.

• {Swamp} - No brainer.

• {Mountain} - You only need a couple, some might say remove them, but I'm a huge fan of fetching for basics.

• {Vampire Lacerator} - This is your second set of Nobles, this card has some serious power and the drawback fades pretty quickly.

• {Stromkirk Noble} - Your {Goblin Guide}.

• {Vampire Hexmage} - A mana efficient beater and an occasional Planeswalker hoser.

• {Kalastria Highborn} - Mana efficient beater, a mini lord, and a pain in the ass. Your opponents will sink removal into this card just to kill your other stuff without penalty, and even this card carries a high price for death.

• {Bloodghast} - An unbelievably efficient beatstick. With your suite of removal, you don't want to be on the defensive side blocking anyways. He doesn't die! Why won't he die?!?

• {Vampire Nighthawk} - Was already an obvious auto include, I just love this guy!!!

• {Captivating Vampire} - Your best lord. With the large amount of mana efficient little dudes, dropping this guy and stealing your opponent's stuff immediately seems pretty easy to pull off. The instant speed steal could also be extremely annoying for an opposing alpha strike. With {Mutavault} out and a couple {Bloodghast} in the graveyard, dropping this guy then either cracking a fetch or dropping a land can turn the tides very quickly.

• {Stromkirk Captain} - Dropping the count to 2. He's good, but he's no {Captivating Vampire}.

• {Liliana of the Veil} -
I find it excruciatingly hard to play any {B} based Modern deck without her. I have such a card-on for her it's not even funny. If the money is an obvious restriction, you could always substitute her with {Gatekeeper of Malakir}. He is the closest thing you're going to find mana wise for this deck, for all intents, and he's in tribe.

• {Lightning Bolt} - Yup.

• {Terminate} - {Dreadbore} is cool, but this card is instant. If your worried about walkers, board in some more {Vampire Hexmage}s.

• {Dismember} - Efficient at killing those big boys, and can even be near free if you're short on mana and have an abundance of life, or feel like playing with fire.

• {Inquisition of Kozilek} - To grab all the goodies, and to stop what you can't outright kill. Sometimes you just bait a {Counterspell}, but we really just want to resolve another dude anyways.

----------The Sideboard----------

• {Vampire Hexmage} - For those pesky walkers, or heavy creature based decks. Don't forget the First Strike!

• {Fulminator Mage} - Because Tron can suck it, and so can all the other fancy pants lands. Cheaper alternatives include: {Molten Rain}, {Avalanche Riders} and {Sowing Salts}.

• {Olivia Voldaren} - This can come in against little dude decks and the grinder control matches.

• {Torpor Orb} - Never hurts you unless you run {Gatekeeper of Malakir}, but is absolutely necessary against Twin variants.

• {Rain of Gore} - For the occasional Soul Sisters and any other life gaining deck.

• {Rakdos Charm} - It does all of your favorite things! Blows up artifacts and clears yards, and sometimes just straight up kills people. Sold.

• {Inquisition of Kozilek} - That fourth copy for when there's too many things that you can just evaporate with removal.

• {Duress} - For the fifth copy of discard when you really just want to say "screw you control and your stupid blue cardboard!!!".

• {Shattering Spree} - So you can give a real finger to affinity and friends.

InfinitiveDivinity

I just noticed you also mentioned a Token heavy meta. {Guul Draz Assassin} could be pretty decent as a 1-3 of, depending on the abundance. He's an okay sniper. Or just run {Illness in the Ranks}.
