i don't understand why they don't run {isochron scepters} religiously at least as a 2 of, I mean by turn 3-4 you're out of cards and are trying to top deck a win I'd like to lightning helix you every turn because of the scepter but that's just me idk... What's yalls take on this?

There are occasional decks that run them with Boros Charms, but you'd rather just be playing more burn.  That two mana could be another 6-10 damage to the face.  Scepter is just too slow.

How about controlly burn? I was thinking about putting 2 in my Izzet control burn

Because that's not a thing outiside of Delver which would rather be running more instants and sorceries

They've worked well for me in my Jeskai Control deck. Just don't run too many.
