My mom got me a Japanese maple tree as my birth tree when I was a few months old. Since we moved 3 years ago she's wanted another one to plant in the yard, but she never really has the time or forgets about it, so my dad and I bought two(we split) and are just about to show her. Then we are going to take her to brunch and plant the trees. It's gonna be a kick ass Mother's Day

I just worked like a slave for 2 days straight cutting in a 25' x 40' garden for my wife.  I have the sunburn to prove it.  Next week will be building the fence around it so we don't have to share our produce with the wildlife.
