Eldrazi monument states that you must sacrifice a creature at your upkeep, if not, sacrifice the card.  if I were to have awakening zone as well. Would I be able to sacrifice that token at the same time ?

Both cards have an ability that triggers at the beginning of your upkeep. You can stack those as you want. If you let the zone resolve first, it will create the token that you can use for the monument.

Yes, as the controller of both you decide which one happens first. So you can have {awakening zone} creating the token before you have to sacrifice a creature.
