Up the fabled hero, battlewise, and leader to four ofs, they are bread u need to butter!

And  {Ajani's Presence} (4 of) instead of  {Chosen by Heliod} it will save your butt when you get wiped cause this type of deck is lose your creatures lose your game!

And no counters?

Maybe think about  {Boros Charm} instead of messenger speed cause you r already moving very fast and a instant chunk of life and a save from a wipe is better than haste any day

there should be approximately 0-2 auras that aren't ordeal of thassa. That's a great way to get two for one'd. I'd also recommend {gut shot} and {mutagenic growth} for free heroic triggers.

They're not budget, although, you can pick up the khans fetches for about 10 apiece

$3 is cheap. If you can't handle that then you can't play competitive magic in Modern. At least not with this style of deck. $3 is really reasonable.
