I would play cards more like {Rampant Growth}, {Farseek} and {Explosive Vegetation} because that allows you to play board wipes which are nasty because all of his dudes are indestructible.

You will still need permanents to trigger the gods to become creatures.

A guy in my play group has an EDH pantheon 5 color it's all bout the board wipes and mana dorks and early mana fixing fun to play doesn't go off that often but super flavorful.
