I had no idea people cared about how Adrian plays his permanents. I don't really care how someone displays their cards so long as it's not so sloppy I can't tell what's going on. I have a friend who likes to stack all his land on top of each other, so I have to consistently ask him to fan out his land so I can see what he has. I also have a friend who "taps" by turning their cards at like a 30 degree angle, so I have to constantly ask if something is tapped or not.

Numbers

Ive started playing like him just to annoy the .love. out of people xD

I don't see a problem with it. But now I want to find the most annoying way to lay my board, just to be a dick

The lands before spells things is gross enough, but lots of people do it. Watching him play, the only thing that really perturbed me was the fact that he wouldn't properly stack the deck when cutting his opponents. He would just leave two halves and tell his opponent which stack should go on top. This seems really silly.  Reading the reddit some mention that this is either because it's a traditional way to cut when playing poker (which I've never seen) or because in the early days of magic if you revealed a card when cutting your opponents deck it had major penalties. While this is feasible it still seems like a super weird tradition to stick to.

I will cut that way when it's hard to pull off the table. I don't want to damage their bottom card.

Yea that makes sense. But at the pro tour the whole table is covered in what's basically a playmat.

Yay now I get to rant about my magic pet peeves!

Stack your lands! I don't want to see 13 forests in a row spreading over the table. If I want to see how much mans you have, I'll ask.

Tap all your permanents the same way! Preferably to the right, but not both directions at once.

Have all of your sleeves going the same way! I can call you on cheating on that!

And the smallest one which I'm actually the one at fault for but won't change, put your library on the left! Symmetry, yo.

The landy-switch. Lands go closest to you, not farthest. That's how God meant for it to be.

Nope creatures by you then lands. That's how it all started out.

I break a lot of your guys peeves. I tap counter clockwise. I usually keep my deck on the right side of me, but not if that's the end of the table I don't want to knock it off the table on accident. I don't hold my cards most of the time. I usually set them down in front of me. I'm sure there are other things.

I stack my lands but have the names of all of them showing.
That's what I mean. I actually place them diagonally so you can see all of them clearly but it saves a ton of space. Same with some permanents (like in stax I put enchantments in the same fashion to save space.)

I stack alike lands, forest on forest, names showing. If I put in an island, new stack. If the stacks get unwieldy, new stack. Saves space, makes for faster tapping, and never had any complaints. For that matter, I also play lands first. On the other hand, sometimes I am a bit sloppy on my untap phase, forgetting to untap creatures eg. Lead to a house rule: anything tapped after your draw is tapped for that turn..

Dsx Cherno

I play my lands closest to me, then mana producers and enchantments, then creatures. Library, graveyard and exile on top right, life counter top left

Pi

My play group is about 50/50 on which sides the lands go on. So I've taken to placing them side by side, usually with lands on the left.

Mattao19

I like lands up front but that's bc I play control and I don't run permanents lol if I ran a creature deck I'd go the "normal" way though

But I like how Sullivan does it personally it's very neat and organized

Anoobass

Tap to the right, tap left if it doesn't untap for some reason.  Upside down if detained.
