I would though add the {Hardened Scales} for good measure I did and it kills!

The main issue with hardened scales is that it makes it so you have to support G on turn 1 and UW on turn 2 for battlewise hoplite.

Go with super underdog Mono Black Discarder. Just run {Thoughtseize}, {Duress}, {Despise}, {Dark Deal} and {Mind Rot} plus removal and a couple of cheap dudes.
