Doesn't sound bad, what do you recommend taking out and what would be a good number of him? I'm thinking a 2 of because other than his ability he's just a blocker that dies to tasi, rhino, loxodon smiter, etc

But you're right late game 8-10 devotion is a game changer if gray falls to the board

I reccommend {mogis, god of slaughter} as at least a one of, as he seems pretty easy to get active with the high devotion.
I might also consider {terminate} as an additional removal spell.  You could replace infernal plunge, as I don't see how it helps the deck.

Plunge to sack tokens for a gouger and haste him with soot dude to create more tokens. The whole purpose is to ramp like wilted Abzan to make big creatures fast and a lot of them. Token generator with sac outlet to create mana is great

Also instead of terminate I'd most likely use dreadbore instead. As Lilianna is definitely a thing

Need everyone's opinion. Who's better, Mogis or Purphoros? The token generator swinging 3 creatures with two ascendency's down would deal 12 damage the instant they hit, Mogis just causes them to maybe sack a creature. Although Mogis does help with one black devotion

Help me understand what's crazy about it? She helps get the devotion up by 2 the most before she's bolted or pathed, and she kinda strays away from the black/red theme and I've already done that with purphoros

For some reason I was thinking creature with mana cost less than 2 😅

If i added her I'd most likely take out Purphoros and the ascendency's then Main board her and path to exiles, but I kind of enjoy the death by numbers that the mardu ascendency's allow me to do
