Can I have the fourth copy of a play set be of another language in sanctioned events? I have a French {Hero of Bladehold} in my mono white standard deck.

Yes this is perfectly legal as long as the card itself is an official WotC printed card and not some fake you might have found at the flea market or dollar store for .50

BlackJester

Just to be clear, you can't have four {Hero of Bladehold}s in English and another four in French.

Is that what the question was? I though he was asking if he was allowed to have 3 English and 1 foreign copy.

BlackJester

They said another copy of a play set. Sounds to me like 4+4=8. I could be wrong, but I just wanted to be clear. 👍

In any case, for the OP, Black Jester is correct about the limitation of four no matter what language, and I am correct about the foreign cards being legal in sanctioned events.

I meant 3 English 1 French. Thanks Jester!
