Vault over crux?

/both. 4 {lightning strike}s seems like a lot for control.

This actually looks quite solid. How has it been doing? I think you might be a little Wincon heavy.

Vault over crux?

Vault does more than Crux.

It's also a turn slower. I'd probably be 3/2 splitting it.

Why 4 lightning strikes? Running UB you have much better removal/answers available to you.

I'm seriously leaning towards U/W.

I mean even in just black you have better removal in {murderous cut}, {heroes downfall}, even {bile blight} is better. Then you go to blue and get even better options. Why bolt their stuff when you can just prevent it from hitting the field? {dissolve}, {dissipate}, {disdainful stroke}, {nullify}. No real benefit from running 4 strikes. Unless you added a more significant burn package where that could actually turn into the wincon by just burning their face. At this point I'd just go to {thoughtseize}, {disdainful stroke} and {hero's downfall}.  And when I ask you reasoning behind card choices saying it's just to see how people react seems odd. Everything posted on here is to get a reaction from people, but I'm asking why you actually choose strikes not why you posted them here.

I wanted to try something new. I know that UB has the best answers as of now, but, what if we were toake a new archetype entirely is where I'm coming from. I just wanted your opinions. I got them, with the help of Link, made a list. But for some reason, instead of giving suggestions, and helping make the list a little more cohesive, you guys are just shooting it down with defined archetypes and complaints about the quantity if a certain card. Besides, I went to FNM with this deck yesterday. I went 3-1 losing only to some really fast white deck.

And I chose strikes because it has already defined itself as a key card in at least 70% of the standard metagame.
