Well, it affects the multiverse in the fact that Bolas didn't kill off Ugin. The effect to Tarkir was that the Dragons are back. However, I think BfZ could showcase some effects for Zendikar. (It was after killing Ugin that Bolas started his schemes to free the Eldrazi right?

I love {Pyromancer Goggles}! A little costly, but if you'd get it out... That's awesome. The dude that drops in a 5/5 is suuuper cool. {Cloudshift} him and/or {Wake the Reflections} make him really sweet. May make an Orzhov deck for em. I like the Zombie that makes zombie tokens for how many of him are in the graveyard. That makes my zombie deck able to pump zombies out so {Endless Ranks of the Dead} has power-- BEGIN THE MACHINE! A lot of cool cards. The {Days of Undoing} I can see being in a discard-esque deck. Is that weird? I like.

I like the zombie token guy in {Necromancer's Stockpile} and Sidisi decks for standard. If he does well he may stay in my casual Sidisi deck.

{Pyromancer's Goggles} are badass. They're five mana because screw red they can't actually be good. (Looking at you, {Pyromancer's Gauntlets}). However they will be in all my red inclusive EDH decks as well as joining my playset of {Pyromancer's Gauntlets} in my multiplayer burn deck. Casting {Flames of the Firebrand} with {Pyromancer's Gauntlets} out and a bonus copy from {Pyromancer's Goggles}? It may be 13 mana for situational 18 damage but it feels good. (And you can get value out of the artifacts for the remainder of the game.)

It looks like they really want to push devotion for these last few months of Theros. Lots of 3-pip casting costs in this set.

Not in love with most of the cards (though some could turn out sweet), but this is the first set where I feel they REALLY nailed the mythics. Pretty much all of them FEEL mythic, which is awesome. Also feeling the EDH love in this set.

I agree about the devotion. After all these multicolour decks I approve.

For the short period of time that it's all in standard...Ensoul Blast might have the support it's been looking for. Idk about you guys but I'm hype to try it.

I'd give the spoilers thus far a solid B. Some cards are really dumb good yet others are just straight dumb. Also, does anybody else find it weird a NEW keywords was put in a core set? Like.. did this every happen before? I'm talking about Renown, not that Menace

And the flip walkers aren't exactly the easiest thing for new players to understand.

And that Nyx herald or whatever looks super strong.
