Wingmare is Thalia with flying instead of first strike. But I get your point

Okay so I'm attending prerelease for Orgins (yay!). We're doing two headed giant so I'd like advice on synergetic colours.

My dad and a family friend are going G/B respectively. Black has a fair chunk of removal and decent low cost creatures. Green has a fair amount of ramp, elf synergy and big nasties. The idea is black paves the way while green smashes face. I like it. The bonus is they might pull of B/G elves in which case one of them can switch colours or something.

I feel like if I was going solo I'd go mono white and look at making W/U or W/R tempo. White has a lot of tap effects and a fairly large amount of efficient creatures. Blue has lots of tempo and some flying finishers. Red's burn is a little lacklustre but I feel like some solid creatures make up for it. However I'm not going solo and tempo is a bad 2HG deck 9/10 times.

I feel like R/G is pretty solid. I also feel like W/B is pretty solid. Of course I always build around what I crack but I need to know what colours to register with.

Well chandra and jaya both have those goggles...so I think we can assume the goggles worn by them are the same ones. So sense it is origins, I'm guessing that eventually do meet and chandra is given the goggles by jaya

Well, the Keral Keep monestary where Chandra learned to control her fiery stuff was founded by Jaya...

Something else interesting.
Gideon is from Theros, whose primary god is Heliod.
The Order of Heliud, to which Gideon was a member, was founded on Regatha.
Regatha was the plane Chandra first walked to.
So if Heliod=Heliud, then maybe there are more Theros tie-ins (or walkers from Theros)
