Needs more {sewer nemesis}, {nemesis of reason}, {hedron crab}, {sword of body and mind}, {whispering madness}, {jaces archivistt}, and {echo mage} could be good as well

{crumbling sanctuary} could be good.  Say you are about to be dead and you have your opponents decks pretty thin.  Bam sanctuary puts you way ahead

{stormscape familiar} would be good in this

{dromars cavern} is another good land for this deck

IMO you should drop {time scour}, {lim-duls vault}, {darksteel mutation}, {retraction helix}, {pull from the deep}, {raven familiar}, {ornithopter}, and {bile blight}

I believe he has  {Ornithopter} And  {Retraction Helix} In there for the combo with  {Midnight Guard}, although I don't see  {Altar of the Brood} In there to enable the combo, so I'm guessing he's trying to also go off with  {Phenax, God of Deception}.

If you don't know the combo, it goes midnight guard and ornithopter in play, play retraction helix targeting midnight guard, return ornithopter to your hand by tapping midnight guard, play ornithopter again which untaps midnight guard. Continue to do this enables "infinite" ETB triggers, or "infinite" tap to mill someone 2 with phenax's ability.

I believe if you take the combo out, that you should still deffinetly run Altar of the Brood. The card is crazy advantage in a mill deck, as it even makes every land you play a mill card too!

EDIT: I see altar is already in there, but that's the reason he has those cards in there.

I see the combo but in a 100 card deck, I would not bother with a multiple card combo
