First, some backstory. My mother is turning forty so she decided to plan a massive party. All was fine and dandy until I was told I must wear a suit. Now, I've been to funerals and weddings, but I've never really worn a suit. Ties were also mandatory. So with all the stress of helping with a party I had to wear a suit. I was not excited. We were at the hotel, and I put the suit on, I even had to tie the tie myself because everybody was too busy to even teach me. (Thank you google). Then I caught my reflection in one of the 3 massive mirrors kicking around.

I do believe that I have never been so good looking in my entire life. (The only other time I can remember looking in the mirror and thinking I looked good was when I dyed my hair). And guess what? The tie wasn't chocking me, the suit fit nice. Even the pants were good. The only downfall was that I had to tuck in my shirt, BUT I HAD IT UNTUCKED CAUSE I'M WEARING A SUIT AND NOBODY CAN SEE! HAHA SUCKERS!

All of this to say I look mighty fine in a suit. Also, random quote that actually happened.

Dude In A Suit: "You know the difference between you and me?"

Strapping Young Man In A Suit: "What?"

Dude In A Suit: *gestures at self* "I make this look good."

Strapping Young Man In A Suit: "You're right. I make this look great."

(Okay it doesn't sound as good on paper but it was epic when I said it in real life.)

Gotta know how to look fly for all occasions :)

How old are you? You didn't know how to tie a tie!?! You've never worn a suit before?!?

To be fair, I'm 30 and still screw up with a Windsor knot sometimes. If you don't have it committed to memory (say from a job that made you tie one daily), then those rare occasions when you need one (say the wedding I went to a few weeks ago) can challenge your memory on how to do it :P

But yeah... Suits look nice. I wish I had more occasion to wear a sport coat and tie, you know, without anyone dying.

I like to wear a suit when I can but I wish i had more suits to have options.

Yeah I'm 28 and have had limited exposure to suit wearing. Pretty much weddings and funerals. But yeah, chicks dig guys in suits. As Barney Stinson would say, suit up whenever you can. It's good for your confidence.

I sometimes miss wearing a suit. I own 3 and there is just something about that "Damn I look good" feel you get.

To clarify, I'm 17, so my suit wearing excuses are very limited.

Try prom, graduation, and post prom partying for all your suit wearing needs.

Today in school my group of friends and I dressed up today and we named our group M.I.D.O. (Men In Dapper Outfits)

I'm also 17, but I have a lot of suit wearing excuses. My choir makes me wear one, dances, dinner theater (tonight), and Fancy Fridays. As a member of Men In Dapper Outfits, I wear suits quite often.

I had the same reaction when I looked at myself in the mirror in my Dress Blue Alpha's the first time, haha. Also, you can never go wrong with the artichoke knot 😋

I only get go suit up every once in a while (middle school 'n' stuff), but I love doing it. It is also nice to have a grandma who loves shopping and doesn't mind spending a ton of money, so I ended up with a really nice jacket and silk tie!

I dislike dressing up usually, probably it's going to temple a lot which I kinda hate. However if I'm not wearing my cousins' old clothes, it can be nice... Way too many conditions here :-/

I'm not going to prom as I'm homeschooled, and I'm probably not going to have a formal graduation, and I'm not going to post prom. You need to understand, I have no life. :P
