They don't want to change their decks?! No EDH deck is ever 'finished'!!! Please, on behalf appreciative-of-good-decklist players, at least hold it over them for ever! Hahahaha!

Edit: and go into your next match with a Zur deck, haha!

If you lost to infect in commander maybe they're in the wrong ...

I'm trying {proteus staff} in mine with no creatures :3

See now that is just GENIUS!!!

One problem - dont you need a creature to sacrifice to the staff? :P or are you running token gen or mind control/threaten?

Other than that minor bump in the road, using the staff with no creatures is certainly a clever way to stack your deck, that's for sure!
It's not sacrifice. You can tuck narset and then pull her from the deck again, all while stacking it.

Just an FYI on this whole thing you would kill your self .... Do to fact that if you have no other creature in the deck she would go to the command zone as state based action of being in the library then the spell would never resolve due to never finding another creature then you would run out of cards in your library n suicide!  i.e.  {Possibility Storm} and {Rule of Law} equals suicide to any player that plays a card

Gorzo your right that is a bump in this plan

You can't put your commander in the command zone due to being tucked into the library, look at {chaos warp} and {spin into myth} and other commander tucking shenanigans.

If a Commander would be put into a graveyard or exile from anywhere, its owner may choose to move it to the command zone instead.

This is a replacement effect; the creature never goes to the graveyard and will not trigger such abilities.

Commanders will move to the library or hand as normal; only transitions to Exile or the Graveyard may be replaced.

you aren't forced to return it to the command zone.  that's optional.
It's not optional when it comes to being put in your library.

Dudecore

Otis has the proper ruling. The Commander MAY be put into the Command Zone as a replacement effect for it going to the Graveyard or Exile. No other transition to any other zone is effected by this ruling.

MommaB

I apologize the ruling as I understood it has that commander can't exist in any other zone but the command zone and the battle field, but if I am wrong then I am happy to hear it lol

But I thought narset was ultimate and invincible to everything

What app/program you're using to run that match, Taysby? I'm thinking of getting a new computer soon and thinking of making the jump to Mac but wasn't aware Cockatrice had a Mac version (...assuming that's what it is).
