Big Dang X Cost Creatures

 I've been a Bant snob and now it's coming back to bite me. I'm trying out and {Animar, Soul of Elements} EDH and I have no clue how to run the {R} pieces of the deck. I figured out that a lot of {G}{R} creatures use "x cost" to get ridiculous but I need help since I can't make imtg search for x cost beasties.

You know if you want red green x costs there is a better general. It's from the Lorwyn Block and taps for {4} that can only be used on X costs

Thanks munchlax but my goal with this deck is to use a selection of +1/+1 counter effects like {doubling season}, {vorel of the hull clade}, {Gilder Bairn}, etc to ramp into an unending stream of HUGE creatures. X cost just happens to fit that scheme.

 {Savageborn Hydra}, {Apocalypse Hydra} come to mind.

{Taurean Mauler} sounds like he'll fit your theme perfectly, even though he's no X cost.

{Hamletback Goliath} also could go well. {Ashling the Pilgram} might be interesting, too, since she'll only pop from her own ability and not multiplying her counters through other means.

Set search for hydra and you find a ton of {X} cost creatures.

{primordial hydra} is my fav.  You talk about a card to put your opponents on a clock

Awesome suggestions folks. Many of those I added right in. Spike, my list of non creatures matches yours almost spot on. Except for that {braid of fire}. Why have I avoided {R}?

I feel obliged to point out that Animar can free cast artifact creatures. And Eldrazi. So bombs like {Blightsteel Colossus} are playable, and if you have {Veldakken Okarey} effects you can flash in surprise blockers, even if you're tapped out.
