Butcher of the horde seems kind of bad here. Sure he's good value, but you're playing kaalia! You can cheat in stuff with 9 CMC if you want to.

I almost agree. Except the ability makes it worth while adding some reanimation, eg {Faith's Reward}, {Rise of the Dark Realms},  {Debtors' Knell}, {Defy Death}, etc... You've got that many creates to make it ok to sac some.
