So i got into magic when born of of gods came out and have mostly just been doing standard fnm but want to start to move into commander. One thing i have a big fondness for is tribal style decks and was wondering what people had for suggestions for a tribal commander deck.

{Ezuri, Renegade Leader}! He's a great general, and you can build a great elf deck with him at the helm for very cheap

If you aren't interested in mono-green elves, {Nath of the guilt leaf} is pretty cool. I run a {Krenko, mob boss} goblin tribal deck that can easily win by turn 4, but that kind of speed isn't for everyone. If you want to do a slower but more consistent goblin deck, {wort, boggart auntie} is an option. Slivers are pretty popular, and {sliver overlord} is great for those. I've seen people do mono-blue illusions with {Kira, great glass-spinner}, and I've seen zombies with {grimgrin, corpse-born}. There is also that new BUG naga shaman for BUG zombies {Doran, seige tower} is pretty great for treefolk, and {horde of notions} makes for an interesting elemental deck! {Olivia Voldaren} works well for vampires, as does {Drana, khalastria bloodchief}.

There are so many tribes, almost any creature type you want can be a potential deck. My advice is to pick something that sounds up your alley. If you like swarms, check out goblins ({Krenko, Mob Boss} among so many others) or soldiers (I have an all-soldier tribal with {Odric, Master Tactician} that's super fun). If you're more into variety, check out something like Elementals ({Horde of Notions}) or slivers ({Sliver Queen}). Maybe you like a tricky deck (Faeries - {Oona, Queen of the Fae}) or a beefy one (Beasts - {Gahiji, Honored One}, {Marath, Will of the Wild}) or a murderous one (Vampires - {Olivia Voldaren}).

I like Kittyquipment tribal deck with {Kemba, Kha Regent} or {Raksha Golden Cub} sat the helm. EDH being the long game with lots of mana, I also enjoy my {B}{R}Demons and {G}{W}Angels duel decks.

Dragon tribal with {Scion of the Ur-Dragon} is something I intend to try. Make it reanimator. There's also a lot of other dragons kicking around that are quite epic. Just search types and put in Legendary Dragon.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. As i am new to the commander game and want to get the feel for it i think i am going to look into soldier, elf, or maybe dragon. Silvers seems really fun but expensive to get the keys to that deck.
