Purphoros and Nissa

Let's say I have a purphoros god of forge and a Nissa worldwaker on the battlefield. If I ultimate Nissa, the lands enter the battlefield and then become 4/4 tramples; purphoros doesn't deal damage because the lands were only lands when they entered, correct?

Yes, the lands would not be a creature untill they are in play.
