Perfect world is
T1 land, {ornithopter} x2
T2 land, {Ensoul Artifact} and swing 5/5 flying.
T3 land, {Ensoul Artifact} and swing 5/5 flying x2.
T4 swing and {Shrapnel Blast} for backup.

If you want I can bump my Ensoul Blast deck. It's the same basic idea as this deck, only I run more creatures for aggro/defence and I don't run any counters. I also splash into red quite a bit more.

Yah if you'd like to that'd be great to get a better idea of something similar. I just think counters would work to keep your ornithopters from being ultimate priced, banishing lighted, doom bladed, or heroes downfalled. As long as they can't kill my ornithopters I win as far as I'm concerned

i think you have to choose between being aggro and midrange. if ur aggro, you need more dudes and you cant care about countering spells. if your midrange, you need board control until your drop your finishers so ornithopter prolly doesnt work in that instance. also, fyi, {ornithopter} doesnt die to {ultimate price} since he is colorless not monocolored.

{Ornithopter} is there cause {Ensoul Artifact}

No that's not all you were saying. You stated that it'd be a bad idea if he went midrange.

which it is. in an aggro ensoul deck its much more potent. once its turn 5, even if you have a 5/5 flyer they likely have answers. on turn 2 that is much less likely.

Codester1991

Turn 5 I have 5 mana and either a dissipate, void snare, or cancel in my hand and at least 2-3 flyers on the board 5/5 or the 2/3 or a scuttling doom engine about to get shrapnel blasted and deal 10 damage to you at once... That's my game plan
