We need a new UW planeswalker. We have 2x as many Gruul planeswalkers, 2 in standaRd at the same time.

I wonder from a flavor perspective how Sorin is B/W. He is a creature of the night, which I guess makes him evil? He doesn't seem like it though. He created Avacyn premending to protect the humans on Innistrad from vampires. He helped Ugin and the Lithomancer seal the Eldrazi,  and he fights Tibalt in Sorin vs. Tibalt - those all seem positive. He is even upset Ugin is dead, and shows some solidarity for the world's that will be destroyed by Eldrazi.

He's also far from being mono white. I don't know what color he'd be really. Black is marked by selfishness and concerned with getting what they want at any cost. Sorin is a vampire..and a good guy.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

If Venser ever is a card again, he is a zombie Venser under Lilliana's control.  That is the ONLY way that could ever happen.

Anyway, I hope Ugin comes back, I feel there is a lot of potential for him.

To get back on track storywise.  Because of the time travel, do you think Sarkhan will want to stay in the past because there are more dragons there, or continue his quest for the present.

By reading the description of black on the wikia, he is very much black. And white.

Link it.
Done.
What most people forget is that there also an evil side to white...

Dudecore

I haven't forgotten the evil side to white, I just don't understand how he's black. I'm going to continue to read, but I don't see much.

Reading Sorin's bio, his involvement on Innistrad besides being a card in Dark Ascension is minimal. He kinda shows up for no reason, fights Tibalt and then leaves. Seems like they pushed him hard into the story :P

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

Oh man, if they give Grislebrand a spark...

Uh no, he also created Avacyn to keep vampires, werewolfs, and zombies at bay;)

Big Gris is dead. He was one of the demons who had control over Liliana, so she killed him.

He did that all premending, before Innistrad block. The extend of his involvement in Innistrad block was:
- Return home for no reason
- See that Avacyn is missing
- Fight Tibalt
- OK, someone else freed Avacyn, she is back .
- Planeswalk to Tarkir.

I know he had to be included, it is his home plane. But they could've came up with something for him to do. Liliana and Garruk had a better story. Tamiyo had as much reason to be there as Sorin.

At least they did a better job with Sorin this time round. I imagine he'll be rather important to the story, given his involvement with Ugin.

So. Sorin is looking to fix the Eldrazi problem right? What if he is trying to revive Ugin to do so? Enlists Sarkhan (being like "one with dragons.") to help.
Or
What if he finds Karn, uses Karn's time manipulating abilities to travel back in time, to prevent Chandra from unleashing the Eldrazi. (It was Chandra right?)

(or, lo and behold they fail at this and Chandra, Jace, Sarkhan, or Sorin are killed. (Mentioning Jace because didn't Chandra and Jace have a brief battle with Sarkhan?)) in the past though...so...wait...if they go back in time and kill someone important...won't it muff up the past like 3 sets?...cuz if Jace were to die back then. Wouldn't he never be able
To become the Guildpact, so Ravnica would fall apart. And......and what happens when we get back to Phyrexia and Yawgmoth's shenanigans get in the way of Bolas?...would Bolas be killed or...what ._.
(Even though didn't he die once already then use leylines and a crapload of mana to revive himself?)

My brain hurts ._.

Here's my theory.

In the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy, the Prince brings the Empress of Time, who embodies the Sands, from the past (long before he released them) to the present (where he had already released and resealed them). Doing this rewrote the past in a way where he COULDNT have released the Sands in the first place. The Empress never died, so the Sands were never released, they never entered the Hourglass, the Prince is never doomed to death.

Using this theory here, if Sarkhan and/or Sorin travel back through time to a point after the Eldrazi are sealed but before Nicol Bolas kills Ugin and bring Ugin forward to the present day, it'll rewrite the past where almost all events are unchanged, besides Ugin never being killed. This helps deal with the Eldrazi, and Nicol Bolas as well, seeing as he'd still be in a weakened state after being defeated by Ajani.

Love the Prince of Persia thought process.
