If a vampire has, when this creature deals damage to a player put a +1+1 counter on it and i give it double strike does that meen if i deal damage to a player i would get 2 +1+1 counters?

Gorzo

Yes.

Double strike means the creature deals damage both during the first strike step and the normal damage step. This means the ability, which is worded "whenever (cardname) deals combat damage to a player," will trigger each time its condition is met.

{Markov Blademaster} unblocked does 1 and then 2 damage for 3 total on first successful attack that hits player

2nd time does 2 then 3 for 6 total damage

Stacks quickly with no responses...

Just a small correction, but if it was unblocked for 2 consecutive swings it would:

Swing as a 1/1
First strike - 1 damage - 2/2
Normal combat - 2 damage - 3/3

Swing as a 3/3
First strike - 3 damage - 4/4
Normal combat - 4 damage - 5/5

End result is 10 damage and a 5/5 double strike.

No problem, math is my strong suit, also had a deck based on those vampires way back when.
