Are their any cards, perferably in standard that can change a creatures type to something else, like soldier.

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

Lol, {Preeminent Captain} deck? I don't think there are any in standard. Also, you have to change the cards in your had to soldiers if you want to flip them into play with the Captain. {Xenograft} and {Unnatural Selection} are the only cards I can think of that change creature type on the battlefield if that helps.

Remillo

I think {Conspiracy} is the only card that can change the type of creature cards not on the battlefield for Preeminent Captain.  Problem is it's in Black and very much not Standard.

You'd have to change the creature type of the card in your hand. The only card that can do that is {Conspiricy}

Both of those points were made, and he never said that he was using {Preeminent Captain}. Maybe he wants lots of soldiers on the battlefield, or for one of his other creatures to be a soldier for some reason.

Ding! We have a winner, while i am using the captain i also want to use  {Door of Destinies} and it would be a waste to have 5 charges or something and not get it to effect some other creature.
