If you use curse of the swine, and have battlefield thaumaturge, does that mean you can cast it and target all creatures, without paying x?

I used to do this all the time for cheap, fun removal but I couldn't stand the fact that my soldiers would shortly be eaten alive by boars...

Oh nononono I'm just suggesting a card to follow up turning all your opponents creatures into 2/2s! :)
You turn all the threats into pigs, and since tokens all have the same name you can follow up with a homing lightning and wipe your opponents board.
