it's a play on words. Chris Pikula, who invented the deck, was a member of team Deadguy (which also included Jon Finkel and David Price).
Also, the Dead Guy Ale deck was a rogue brew for a specific tournament, and the Dead Guy Ale beer is made by the Rogue brewing company.
