I was thinking about adding Chancellor of the Annex but I don't know where it would fit

Munchlax

Well I just went to my LGS for a legacy tournament. Pulled home fifth.
Game 1, Death And taxes
There wasn't a whole lot the guy could do. Game one I exiled 2 hands and ended up with 4 Leylines, a sanctum, Idyllic Tutor, and Enlightened tutor. I proceeded to beat him to death with leylines. Gave two I only had 3 leylines in hand with a sanctum, a field, a confluence and a crop rotation. I drew into a helm of obedience and milled him out turn 4
2-0 v death'n taxes

Game two, All in marit Lage. 2-1
This guy needed things that he didn't get. He couldn't get his vampire hexmage out at all. It was really sad. He did get it out game two and t1 laged me. But yeah. Game three was stupid. 6 Leyline hand. 1 sanctum. Drew into idyllic tutor and t3 slapped him for lethal.

2-1 all in marit Lage

Munchlax

Game three. Eternal Garden 1-2
I couldn't get a tutor for the life of me. By the time I had my leylines become creatures he had glacial chasm up and running. I got laged

Game two I had 2 leylines on board at the beginning. It was Leyline of pubishment and Leyline of the void.
I ended up helm of obediencing him for his library.

Game three he k gripped my leylines then kicked me in the face with a lage token

Munchlax

Match four. Elves 0-2
This was embarrassing. I got face rolled so hard. Game one his deck was on the field and I couldn't do anything about it.

Game 2 he did the sane as game 1. I just got face rolled.

Munchlax

Match 5. Reanimator 2-0
Let's put it this way. He conceded when he saw Leyline of the void t0.
Same thing happened game 2

Munchlax

Match 6. Burn. 2-0
Hehe. Leyline of sanctity t1 both games after voracious mulligans.

Munchlax

All in all I had some fun. Great deck to play. Still need sideboard advice

Still really stupid that it's a thing, but it looks like it has all of the answers. :P
Yep. It's fun. I play this deck, Cheerios, and Lands for legacy

By your logic taysby it is really stupid that every deck is a thing. The thing I like the best about magic is there are limitless deck possibilities. I don't particularly like the concept of tron, but I won't say that it's stupid. The only difference between leylines and tron is you like tron and you don't like leylines. Doesn't make it stupid.

Leylines are already viewed as mostly crap.  over priced, and what are the odds they would be in your starting hand?  then take them, fill a deck up with them, and turn it into a turn 2 kill?  that's a stupid deck.  There are few decks that are "just stupid".
Yeah. It's stupid. I like it like that

Lol Taysby quit hating lol its like youre saying that you don't like tier 2 decks even though that's what Tron is :P

It's a fun deck

Mr_Fahrenheit

What's the definition of a stupid deck? One that takes a bunch of cards that are generally viewed as crap and turn them into a turn two kill? I call that strategy, and being resourceful. If you have fun with the deck you play it doesn't matter if the cards are 'generally viewed as crap'. If you don't like leylines then you don't like leylines. It doesn't mean the whole concept is stupid or flawed. The same goes for tron. If you like it then you like it. It doesn't make it the best thing since sliced bread, just your personal favourite. Not trying to hate on Taysby, I've just been seeing a lot of people lately take their personal opinion and try and preach it as gospel.

I don't know what makes a "stupid deck", I just know it when I see it.

And I'm not saying this deck is bad.  It looks really good, which is part of the reason why it's stupid.
Do you even play legacy? Half the decks are stupid. Isn't that the point of legacy? The beauty of any combo deck is the stupidity. You play a fairly simple modern deck that requires some know how to get to work. I play a legacy deck that makes people laugh at me. There.
