Wonder if they'll call the wedges by their Invasion Block names... Ceta, Necra, Raka, Dega, Ana. Or will they give them new names?

They already gave them new names

I'm interested in that ultimate for Teferi. Could create some issues. But then again, it will take a minimum of 11 turns to activate, without any ramp...

uhh. {doubling season} is played in edh... assuming your commander is {prime speaker, zegana} or something legit like that.

Oh my stars and garters! Morph!!! Wedges! A Gisa named card (other than {Wakedancer}! Finally an ARCANIS REPRINT!!!

The Jeskai look quite oriental and awesome! Never been into American wedge, but this could change that. What tribe do you reckon the tall lanky dude is? (I'd be lying if I said another Kamigawa hope didn't pop into my head)

I've never been a {R}{U}{G} fan either but that pic has sold me. Very Wolverine meets Nightwolf from MK.

He'd only be a 1/2, It's a card for flavor after all.

Twitter and Tumblr reported all this as it happened. All info here is correct and from Wizards directly, unless I made a typo.

Spikepit

Argus, you mentioned that only the first set of is wedge, does that mean the other two won't be wedge based? One or two of the sets be time travel based?

So if there is time travel, they'll reanimate the extinct dragons probably (considering {Crucible of Fire} was a thing).

I sort of have a feeling that we will see an appearance by Bolas in this block somewhere...

I'm not sure how I feel about planeswalker commanders. And I think that if the do it for blue they'll do it for everyone.

They are it's been confirmed that this years commander cycle is the 5 colours. All PW commanders. As for who the PWs are we have no clue yet!

Ekann1

They've spoiled one. Let me go find it.

Quick google search gave me this:
This got spoiled on twitter here

Teferi, Temporal Archmage 4UU
+1 Look at the top two cards of your library put one into your hand and the other on the bottom of your library.
-1 Untap up to 4 target permanents.
-10 You get an emblem that says you can use the activated abilities of planeswalkers you control on any turn at any time you could use an instant.
You may use Teferi as your commander.
