Ok I know it has been brought up before. Can I put infinite counters on {grimgrin courpse Bourne} if I have {grave crawler} and {rooftop storm} in play. I am sure this is yes however my friend would not belive me. If possible could I get a judge or BJ to answer. Thanks.

Well, I hope being a Rules Adviser will be sufficient, but yes, you can do this.  {Rooftop Storm} lets you cast Zombies for 0 mana.  {Gravecrawler} can be cast from your graveyard, as long as you control a zombie.  {Grimgrin, Corpse-born}'s ability let's you sacrifice a creature to put a counter on him and untap him.  All good.

The confusion might be in the fact that you can attempt to untap an untapped creature.  If it is part of the resolution of a spell or ability, there's no problem.  It just does nothing instead.  You can't tap a tapped creature or untap an untapped one as part of a cost, though.

So if I understand correctly u can still sac a creature even though he is untapped it just won't do anything but u still get the counters?  Thank you.
